The air quality in Delhi continued to remain in ‘severe’ category on Nov 06, as per Central Pollution Control Board. Over the past few weeks, Delhi residents have woken up to a thick layer of haze. The deteriorating air quality has continuously been causing breathing issues and a burning sensation in the eyes of Delhiites. On November 06, the Air Quality Index spiked beyond 500 in Delhi. Earlier, the Commission for Air Quality Management on Nov 05 decided to invoke Stage IV of the GRAP in entire Delhi. Air Quality Commission said that Stage IV will be implemented in addition to the restrictions placed under Stage I to III.
