An IAF C-17 Globemaster carrying relief materials departed for El-Arish airport in Egypt on Nov 19. The flight carried 32 tonnes of relief material for the Palestinians as India continues to deliver humanitarian aid. It included essential life-saving drugs, tents, sleeping bags, sanitary utilities among other necessary items. The flight carrying the relief supplies will land at El-Arish airport in Egypt. Previously, India sent relief materials for the people of Palestine on October 22. India has been one of the first countries to provide humanitarian aid to the people of Palestine. The move comes amid the escalating recent war between Israel and Hamas. With no sign of a ceasefire on the horizon, more than 11,000 people have been killed in Gaza war.
